At Kidz on Regent, we proudly offer a standout School Transition Program designed to support children as they prepare for the exciting leap into primary school. We know that starting Kindergarten is a major milestone, and our program helps ensure this transition is smooth, positive, and empowering.
In partnership with St Peter Chanel Primary, our 12-week program runs during Term 4 and is tailored for children aged 4–6 years. Each week, children visit the school and take part in a range of age-appropriate activities within a real school setting. These may include classroom story time, group games on the playground, library visits, or simple routines like lining up and taking turns.
Through this experience, children become familiar with the structure of a school day. They build confidence, independence, resilience, and social skills—key foundations for a successful start to school.
Our educators work closely with the school to ensure each visit builds familiarity and excitement. The program fosters positive associations with the school environment, creating a strong sense of belonging and readiness.
